Ministry So what

We are so drunk, the two of us know we shouldn't be playing this loud in my apt.
We get in his ford wagon with loaded with sound equipment and drive down to the river.

College days, we wake up dash of the car is bashed in and this is playing so loud you have to wonder how the police didn't come.

One of the top bands of all time, at least in my top 10.

What the ???? Letterman??? I only got to see them once. We were playing Heroes of might and magic 3 in the filthy house in Richmond BC on a mid week day. They were playing so we drove downtown to check them out.

Gibby was so drunk he could hardly stand....all I could smell was week and coke being burnt. About 30 minutes into the set this very good looking girl offered Gibby a BJ and he left with her never to come back.

Though he left "what would you do she offered" sampling over and over again.

As you might of guessed I love all music and will stay out of this thread for a bit…but out of all the bands I have seen and all the music from Satanic Metal to Pop …this is my fav song in the world and has been for many years. I did get to see him once in the 90's …

Reminded me to listen to this, which I haven't listened to in about 25 years. O_O
Butthole Surfers - Rembrandt Pussyhorse
Still holds up surprisingly well for some psycho rock. Reminds me at times of early Floyd. But this is much more twisted.

It even includes a cover (though thoroughly wacked out) of American Woman. :)

Nice. Adding to my download list. :)

Three very good cover versions:

First a haunting version of John Lennon's classic, "Working Class Hero":

I'm not a fan of Sepultura in general, but this raw interpretation of an U2 song, "Bullet the Blue Sky" from "The Joshua Tree" is a favourite of mine:

And finally this rather surprising Disturbed version of "The sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel:

Can't get it out of my head, nor do I want to. Mr Draiman: what a voice!!!!

pibbur who also likes this over-the-top version of another Simon and Garfunkel tune

The unexpected result of seeing Elvis Costello live last week is that I can't stop watching this video of his dad singing "If I Had a Hammer" on sixties TV.
