Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Kickstarter Video

It looks nice, but I need fantasy in my crpgs. No magic = No money. I'm glad you guys are backing it though. I'll pick it up in a steam sale in a year or two

I should say I tried Mount and Blade and couldn't stand it.

I find Mount & Blade quite enjoyable at the beginning, but once you take a town or two and the game is less of a challenge, the lack of story becomes a bit of a problem. There's only so many cattle herds to drive and prisoners to free before it gets a bit old.

Considering Kingdom Come: Deliverance I am willing to give the devs the benefit of the doubt where story and quests are concerned. Even the episodic structure is no longer troubling me after they explained it a bit better. And while I don't dislike fantasy, magic and elves per se, I am also more than ready to try something fresh and new, such as a somewhat realistic medieval setting.
