Risen Gold deposit in cave - impossible to reach?

In Lord patroscons cave, going towards eldric's hut, there is a gold deposit high up in the wall, cannot reach it, is it possible to get this and how?

Yep, that's what I figured as well. It's not actually possible to get it.

Just been where you must be talking about and yeah, no way to get them. ( There's 2 right? )

Since those things typically don't have physics (unlike a switch), probably not. I tried the same with one of the bowls which was out of reach, and they simply passed right through it.

I do not believe that it's actually a gold deposit. You'll notice that several such blotches exist throughout the world, and usually it's where the dirt falls from the ceiling. Part of the whole "earth is ripped by powers deep underground". But I agree that the texture is very close to a gold vein one. I spent a bit of time trying to figure it out as well.
