Hmm I haven't found any magic combos, I'll have to look into those.

In terms of archer units, archer units in HoMM tend to be stronger then archer units in KB, but the catch is that they are easier to close with. Still having stronger archers then your enemy is a huge advantage because it forces your enemy to rush you rather then vice versa, which is a big advantage.

Overall disappointed. Would have rather bought it at $15-20 pricepoint or gold/GotY edition with all DLCs and bugs fixed (how about elite creature having special attack doing no damage, beta test anyone?)

I understand most of 1.0 bugs were present in beta.

Also agree, at $20 and a few more patches, this will be ownable.
