try this link: http://www.filedropper.com/grimoiredemov12
Also try this on Win7 64:
1) Download the latest version: http://www.filedropper.com/grimoiredemov12
2) install it normally
3) Right Click on the game icon, choose properties and then select the compatibility tab.
4) tick: run this program in compatibility mode and choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
5) Check the: Run this program as an administrator tick box.
Have done some preliminary testing with this and haven't had any problems…yet

Since I seem to be the only person having this issue, I'm starting to think this whole thread is a massive joke on me

No luck with that link either. Shows the Filedropper screen for a second, then jumps to Bing.

Oh and since I wrote that post, there is a problem running in XP compatibility mode (mouse goes haywire in character screen), but it's really more of an inconvenience since you can get of that screen by tabbing through the UI elements and pressing enter when the exit button gets the focus.
Anyway good luck.
