Yeah it is about filtering information :) Are you a very structured problem solver woges?

It is very relevant since in the real world we have a lot of information all the time.

I'm sure the puzzles are more structured than I am. As to how a mind works... who knows? Did I get the right answer by the way?

That was my first thought! I just took it as an apple weighs the amount of 5 seeds as there was no other info for them.

Oh i see you're excluding the additional bits of info as well. I thought of that also but I figured it was a mathematical puzzle rather than a trick one.

hehe, it is an annoying puzzle, the first time I solved it I also though like, I know how many seeds those weights, so I can divede it by 5 to find out how many apples there are.......... to read it just makes your mind go like what the heck? I had to read a lot of times, before I got that one. I even wrote the wrong answer above now,,,, have to think it over to get the right one again!
