Rills
Sentinel
About 7 years ago I installed Morrowind on my old Pentium 3 system and only got through most of the Fighter Guild quests when I quit and uninstalled. For one it took too much of my time and two, even though I play a lot of RPGs, I didn't really "get" Morrowind's system or story.
For my birthday last May my sister-in-law bought me the GOTY edition and I have tinkered with the thought of reinstalling it but this time with some selective mods. Especially since my current system will certainly handle the game much better.
The thing is I don't have a clue on how one applies the mods of choice. Some are in zip files, and others of interest are in .rar files, etc. I have a utility that can open these files.
Here are my questions:
1. When you download files where does one place them?
2. When you "unpack" the file does it automatically install or do you have to manually install.
3. And if you manually install how does one go about doing this?
4. Lastly, what mods do you recommend from your own experience? I wasn't exactly thrilled with the graphics (with the understanding it was good for its day). I thought they were a little too dull.
I am a complete newb at this so be kind. Thanks.
