Leap motion controller looks better than Kinect

Yeah I certainly can move my hand in gun grip (or just about any other freeform hand/finger motion) much faster than rolling a mouse about.

Well using a mouse can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome, and responsiveness is just as important me (or maybe moreso) as precision. But yeah speed is different yet just as important dimension. Plus I get annoyed when my mouse doesn't track properly because of the surface: that has an effect on both precision (or more correctly, accuracy) and speed.

Somehow I doubt that holding your arm out in front of you for extended periods of time is less likely to lead to health issues than using a mouse.

As far as precision goes, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Very impressive, looks extremely responsive too. You could probably use it resting your hand on the desk like you do when writing, that would be quite comfortable. When using my Wacom for longer periods the mouse feels quite uncomfortable - having to twist your wrist isnt really optimal..
