I didn´t have a computer during my younger years and were always very envious of the ones who had
Around 90-91 when I went to university I borrowed a not really laptop let´s call it a portable c64 the screen was about the size of ordinary phone today
Anyway on this strange machine me and a friend used to play m.u.l.e far more than was probably healthy and apart from that I played dragon wars
That friend recently died (last thursday) and your post has once again made me want to revisit the game but it seems like it´s impossible to make it work on a modern computer and for some reason all the recreations I´ve tried stinks
I would really like to play it again

Very sorry to hear about your friend. I did have a C-64 and during the summer months in the mid to late 80's a friend of mine would play it for hours and hours.

I played a lot of MULE back in the day. That day was QUITE some time ago, though, so I'm not so sure I would want to play again.

I remember playing Spore, getting into space, and having that music play at some planet or other. I knew the song but it took a bit of pacing around before I suddenly remembered where it came from!
