Didn't seen anyone posting about this, so here goes. The first trailer was released, and an explained-version of that trailer, and some new info about the game was leaked, and will officially come (the info) with the next issue of GameInformer.

And some of the info. Plus some images/concept art from the game, though a bit low-res.

I like what I'm seeing so far and hope for the best. The increase in types of missions to 16 is certainly welcome, and no more eavesdropping and pickpocketing. And I like the period it's set in a lot. Lots of potential and am curios in the interaction the main character will have with the different people of that age.

Also wielding two wrist-blades could make for some awesome-looking combos. :D

And I'll end with a nice artwork of Ezio Auditore deFirenze, the new next-to-be-playable assassin.

Hopefully it has a lot more variety in gameplay/characters/settings, than the first game. I really enjoyed Assassins's Creed up till a certain point, then I finally just grew tired of doing the same things over and over again.

It was still a very good game imo. Excellent graphics, and some of the most fluid character animation I've ever seen.

Yeah. I love this game as well, though I think AC was too unrealistic. If it was realistic it would be much better.

Assassin's Creed was the best console port i played last year. hopefully the game-play and the animation is further enhanced in the sequel..

It's a shame my pc won't even dream running Assassin's Creed,I really liked the pre-Empire part when I had decent FPS.

The new protagonist is dressed almost like Altair they should have made him more dark.

I like the new clothes. The only I find the same is the head-cover. Otherwise I like the half-cape on his left shoulder, and the clothes really look stylish. I like the leather gloves and wrist-covers on his right hand. Though I'm sure we'll see changes as they work on it.

If only the gameplay matches the amazing visuals this time....

AC was one of the most depressing experiences for me, because the game could EASILY have been much, much better with only a few enhancements to the gameplay.

Imagine Thief-like gameplay in such an environment, instead of basically doing the same repetitive couple of activities over and over again.

Such incredible aesthetics coupled with such hollow gameplay = near tragedy.

The main issue I had with the AC missions beyond being repetitive, was that they were so silly they destroyed the immersion. The "collect my flags" was extremely silly, reminding me about a easteregg hunt.
