Skyrim - Heartfire DLC Available Now

This simply doesn't motivate me to dive back into Skyrim. So I can…build a house? This kind of functionality should have been in the original game to make any kind of sense - it doesn't continue any important story arc, add new landmass or significant adventures. It seems superflous: I didn't need a fancy house and I didn't really feel the lack, so why should I spend money to get that now? It feels like something better suited to the World of Barbie "Build a luxurious getaway for Ken and Barbie! Marvel as they frolic in the pool you built! Watch as they brew potions…erm..martinis at the new brewing station erm…bar! But wait, there's more!"

Yet another DLC I won't be buying - yay, money saved. I'm waiting for my expansion…*taps foot impatiently*

PS If this was part of the original game, then I would probably have tried it out…but paying for this, almost a year after release? No way.
