So I have this, but haven't really played….

The million dollar question is when will this be done?

Will still be a while in development unfortunately but we want it to be as good as possible. We will keep you updated on the progress here in the forums (and of course on our own dev blog).

Right now we are working on the injury system and are reworking the perk tree. Once those two things are in the game we are a big step closer to a release version.

If I may make a suggestion.

Having light injuries heal could potentially be slightly positive too.

For example, someone who broke his leg could have it healed but with the side effect that he has one lower movement point and higher aim. Reason for this would be that he doesn't like moving anymore so he can steady his aim better.

Or someone who got cut in his left arm could no longer use a large shield once healed as it is too heavy but maybe could dual wield a dagger at increased proficiency …

Lots of potential with this.

Interesting idea!
We already planned for little positive effects for a few permanent injuries. However, soldiers will accumulate a lot of temporary injuries over a campaign so having effects that stay can get a little out of hand at some point. I think it is easier to balance when we keep these effects for permanent injuries only for now!
