GD and retardo still exist, they just don't appear at all when you're browsing as a guest.

And yes it looks like everyone needs to reset his or her password.

For password reset, replace the link to local host with the link to www.rpgcodex.net/forums and paste the password reset query.

Damn, the purging of General Discussion was the one thing that could make me go back to the Codex full time. Guess I'll keep waiting for my GAF account to be approved. Cheers, guys (and bees, and cats), it's been nice knowing you all.

Fuck me. The new forum looks terrible. Of course, its only been up a few days So I'll wait before coming to any conclusions. At least we have a new house.
