I'm glad, how this one turned out. The developer nicely fit the combat into a box. Allowing us, indie competition to think outside of the box. And develop a combat representation, that uses almost the same camera view - well I set XCOM Ufo Defense isometric camera and characters, but for the combat something entirely different. :D

Ultima Underworld 1 has shown us we need lots of control over the life of our created characters and his/her actions. Simple things, like the ability to influence the immediate game environment and able to push around/steal from/barter with/kill the NPCs around us. Its infinitely powerful and gives us lots of control. Everybody wants control over their life and if a game allows us to exercise control over the game world by fun actions made possible by the developer, its almost as if we had control over our real lives and that feels super fun!
