Witcher No melody for me...

A question, maybe to our Polish visitors, but I am curious about the English version, too. In my (german) version, all the bard songs (e.g. Rittersporns's - Dandelion in the english version, I think, but also the generic pub bard's) are recited, not sung. Since there are a few references in dialogue (e.g. Dandelion asks "maybe with a different melody?") , I got the impression that these are actually sung in the original. These scenes, esp. in the quest with the two sisters, were rather akward in my version, but I assume they could have been rather cool in the original. Just curious.

The only songs that are sung in English are those at Shani's party.

IIRC the term "song" was used more broadly in medieval times.
