Baldur's Gate 2 - Enhanced Edition in 2013

You're still using a CRT display? Most people use LCD's nowadays and if you arent using its native resolution the picture quality won't be very good. I think it's great they're doing a remake, not everyone is willing to go through the hassle of installing several mods for UI and resolution.. on the whole i think people using mods is quite small, nice for those people to get a release they dont need to mess with for hours before they can play with good picture quality.

My current setup:
PC 1:
- Monitor: Asus 26" TN panel, 1920x1200
- Graphics: GeForce 680 GTX
- Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3, Socket-1155
- CPU: Intel® Core i7-2600K
- Memory: Kingston DDR3 HyperX 1600MHz 16GB
- SSD: Crucial m4 SSD 2.5" 128GB
- HDD: Western Digital Caviar® Black 2TB
- OS: Win 7 Ultimate

PC 2:
- Monitor: Dell 24" IPS panel, 1920x1200
- Graphics: ATI 5870
- Motherboard: ASRock X58 Extreme S-1366
- CPU: Intel® Core i7 920 2.66GHz
- Memory: G.SKILL 6GB DDR3
- HDD: WD Velociraptor 300GB
- OS: Win 7 Pro

PC 3 (laptop):
- Resolution: 1920x1080
- Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
- Motherboard: Mobile Intel HM55 Express
- CPU: Intel® Core i7 720QM / 1.6 GHz
- Memory: 6GB DDR3, 1333 MHz
- HDD: 500 GB Hybrid Drive ( 4 GB flash )
- OS: Win 7 Home

I don't use high res mods on any of them. BG1-2 still looks good, even at 800x600 resolution. The only mod I really need at the moment is EasyTUTU, I simply can't play BG1 without it.

BG looked absolute shit on my TN display or on my laptops native resolution, on my IPS it looks fine in either resolution, but slightly better in native, which is only natural. I might be extremely picky though..
