Yes, not a surprise. I was glad that I could do it in smaller firms for a few days, Radon Labs & Larian studios.
I assume that the size of the company plays a huge role in this.

I Did QA for SAP for 4 years, it mind numbing work. Most Corporations don't care about quality only issues can be scrubbed quickly. Senior Developers would disable features in order to avoid bugs.

There are currently several discussions going on in the forums of DDO. One of the major (?) developers outright said that they weren't going to look into a recent bug (which isn't as bad, imho, as the people make it to be), because, he says, he has a deadline to head to. (There's an expansion coming out this summer.)
