ES4: Oblivion - vs Limbo of the Lost

Either their 2d artists quit or they never had any 2d artists and only the coder's were left to make the game.

I personally believe that the second thing is true.

Well, what I often perceive is that people look up on 3D and down on 2D at the same time.

Modders who can do so much are the new heroes, with the 2D artists not even mentiones, cynically speaking. Everyone wants to be big in 3D, but no-one even notices the actual need for 2D artists for backgrounds etc. .

I think that this "game" is just the result of this ... well, I'd call it a "prejudice" ... Although it really isn't one explicitely ...Implicitely, if at all ...

The credits say the Steve Bisco, the project lead, was the sole visual artist. It was discovered there was a sequel planned when he advertised for a 2d/3d artist for it - and that it would be 1024x768.

I love GameZone's list of features for the thing. Check out the top one.

What does that German report say in English? Same thing?

The German-language report just says that the developers "didn't know any limits" and took from several games. There's a list in it of the games "they" stole from according to some forum entry http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=310683

Oblivion
Diablo
Thief: Deadly Shadow
Morrowind
Unreal Tournament 2003/2004
Black & White 2
Silent Hill 3

They also say that Bethesda knows this, but doesn't want to say anything right now.

And that the developers are "on vacation" since the finishing of the whole thing, that's why they cannot be contacted by the publisher.
