Gothic trak ball play

i'm playing gothic 1 and am using a trak ball instead of a mouse... has anyone else used a trak ball?? i would like to know if i should go back and relearn how to use the mouse for gothic 2 and 3

I never used a track ball, mousepad or the mighty mouse from apple. If your able to play gothic 1 with it, I'd say go for Gothic2 with it too.

No idea about a track ball. Several people posted on our old forum on RPGDot that they were very happy playing with a gamepad, though.
If you feel that your track ball works correctly you should stick to it. The chances are high it will work at least as good in Gothic 2.
G3 has different controls.
