The Witcher is based on books.
I guess the new game will also be based on books (or movie). Bladerunner? :)

It does not really have to be open world as long as it "feels" like an open world with large areas allowing for plenty of exploration. I have a feeling this may have a Fallout type of vibe, mostly city and some outside areas. In any case I'm looking forward to more information.

considering i play even low budget, russian import cyberpunk games this is wonderful news and will make make forget all about CDPRs last actions.

also when the hell is omikron 2 going to come out...
