It is worth noting that this file is ~60MB whereas the old one was ~57MB, so there are definitely differences.

I wonder if I should patch my already patched version or not. I'm afraid it could correput it.

I patched my patch … it runs, loads and plays … didn't try anything 'real' though …

So to be on the totally "safe" side (well, as far as that can be said at all for anything that has to do with G3
), it would probably be best to reinstall the game and to patch it with the official 1.12 patch. No idea about saves that were made with the supposedly corrupt version of 1.12. To be totally safe once again, it would probably make sense to dump those saves and continue from a 1.08 or 1.09 save.Of course, if the leaked 1.12 isn't causing any problems then everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to take the risk of continuing to play a game that has previously been patched with a patch that contained a critical error. The JoWood dude did unfortunately not go into detail about the problems that the leaked version could cause.

So basically, always wait a few days before applying a new patch!!

Hm. My experience is that the patch has changed behaviour of wild animals. If a normal wolf hits me, he will hit me again… and again… I'll be lucky to survive. And that's talking character level 27 here. I had no problems like that in 1.09, only heard they were present in the released version… and now *BAM* here they are again. At least on my PC.
Strange, this change was not on the list…
BTW, the game's still great :-)
