Divinity II: FoV - Official Site Launched
June 4th, 2010, 15:18
Larian has launched FlamesOfVengeance.com for their upcoming Divinity II addon. There are comparison screens, a FAQ and other infos and new forums have been launched at Larian. According to the FAQ, the engine improvements will be released as a patch for the base game. The addon itself will run to around 20 hours, though the X360 version might be delayed because it's too large as a DLC, so other distribution methods are being investigated.

Its a shame about the X360 Version.
Hope they get in touch with Mastertronic and release it via disk.

People who like the full game will most likely like the Add-On also. The style of the game is essentially the same.

You know, I need to go back and finish that game. I never could get past the Dragon mini-game areas. It felt too much like a cheap arcade game had intruded into my crpg. At least Arcomage fit in the M&M series.

The good news I read is that you don't actually have to have finished the original to play the add on. I also liked that apparently it will be more like the first part of the game, not the second.

I have been testing it at Larian two weeks ago, and it is definitively fun.
Since I signed an NDA, I'm not allowed to say much more, sorry.
But I'm sure the new site will reveal things soon enough.

I can tell them.
But don't expect too much. I assume that this (the distribution) is the publisher's task.

Its a shame they dont just have One Universal Publisher would make life so much easier to get content like this out on discs.
Larian get in contact with Mastertronic to get the expansion on a disc for UK.
