Arcania - Writing Contest @ JoWood

Do you have some writing skills? If so, you could head over to the JoWood forums where they are running a contest to write a short story about what happened to Rhobar III. It is unclear at the moment what you can win, but here is the info:

A German version of this contest can be found here.Write a short story of about 100-150 words, in which you will express your opinion about what happened with the king, why he became evil and corrupted.
- Guide
Participants also have the option to elaborate a whole new story, with Rhobar III as the main character.
Every participant can post only one story
- Rules
Avoid surpassing the limit of 150 words (+30 maximum accepted)
The contest starts in August 5, 2010 and ends in September 15, 2010.
- Contest Information
After the closure, the community will get the chance to vote for their favourite story, and, after that, the final votes will come from JoWooD.
The winners will be announced on October 1, 2010.

Jowood are now such cheapskates they won't even outsource their writing to low wage countries. Instead they run a competition and get the general public to write their plot and backstory, in exchange for free copies of Forsaken Gods and Spellforce Faith in Destiny.

It was a cheap jibe. God knows they deserve it after Forsaken Gods.
I hope that JoWood/Spellbound actually have their own narrative as to why Nameless/Rhobar became corrupt, particularly given how much the series fans moaned about his complete personality change. One wouldn't want something so fundamental to be left to a competition…
