"Oppressive Shadows uses Oppression"

Wow, my interest in this game just fell down a cliff.

Doesn't look all that impressive and a storyline that features a "female lead that struggles with her past" isn't exactly the kind of thing that gets me all excited, but I'm always interested in a decent turn-based RPG, so I'll be keeping an (albeit half-closed) eye on this one.

I don't like the art style. The portraits look too… Japanese.

But the combat log made me chuckle. "Oppressive Shadow uses Doubt"

Well' it excites me more than "prophesized chosen one saves the world (again)". The drawn art is very cool, the game art itself a bit ho-hum, but OK. All those shadow/flame things look like a lot monotonous combat, though.
