Default Dragon stats

*sigh* I'm killer while I'm a human, but I suck as a dragon. Do what you put in your stats as a human affect your dragon stats at all? Or do your dragon stats come from armor alone?

Any tips on pumping up my dragon self, anybody?

Your human stats do nothing to improve your dragon form. You can improve the dragon form by finding and using dragon skill books and dragon gear.
Edit: I didn't find the dragon parts hard at all compared to even easy space flight games like freelancer. You can use potions in addition to your dragon skills. If nothing else helps you could also reduce the difficulty before tackling dragon flight parts. Also don't enter areas protected by no flight zone, or you'll die very quickly.
