Default texture "pop ins"

January 26th, 2011, 09:12
i was suffering from pretty bad texture pop in.
I would see blurs, and then a few seconds later, the textures would "pop in".
screenshots-

then after a few seconds

specs
CPU - AMD 555BE
GPU- PNY XLR8 GTX 460 1GB
OS- Windows 7 Pro 6GB RAM

I play on highest graphic settings. I had to lower to high settings to get rid of pop ins.
MY system can handle every game out right now on highest settings (tested my rig with Metro 2033 DX11 1920x1200 resolution, and made out with 30-35 FPS, and THAT game is a system killer!)

Is it just an optimization issue with the engine? Its wierd that I cant play on Highest settings without pop ins.

Same here, hope there's a trick to it so I can keep on playing on the highest setting.

I had the same problem but I quit playing this game. It could of been a hit if more time was given to developing it. I can see why the NA publisher backed out from releasing there games.

You're right, but some of the guys around here are really doing their best to improve things where they can.
Maybe you should check back later when more is done
