Academagia - Demo Released
February 11th, 2011, 21:49
Academagia, the Harry Poteresque wizard-school/RPG/something indie game generated bit of buzz when it was released a couple of months back as I recall. Rock, Paper, Shotgun says a demo has been released (limited to 30 minutes — boo!) for anyone interested.
More information.

For the record (and people too lazy to click through and see for themselves) it's a 30 minute demo (you put 3 minute in the news bit!).
I haven't tried it yet but I am glad they finally put out a demo. From what I remember reading it sounded pretty complex and interesting.

30 minutes are ok, 3 min… not so much.

I actually bought this game. Its pretty interesting, at first I really had no idea what I was doing. It is basically a text adventure game.

I got it as part of a Steam Indie pack I think (like 6 indies for like $10 or something during their Christmas craziness, good deal) or was it in Gamersgate? lol

Still, it looks very interesting to me. Stat crunching and skill gathering, yummy.

I still have massive problems to imagine what kind of game this might be … I guess I must download the demo, then …
But its concept sounds fairly unique !
