The promised update for Fallout: New Vegas is now available on Steam and Jason Bergman has updated his previous post on the console releases. As you may have heard, PSN is down, so they don't know here that one is at but the X360 version should be up by week's end.

That means I have to update most of the mods I tried out if I want to play the game again. Damn.

I wonder what's changed beyond the balance tweaks.
There's also an update to GECK: http://download.zenimax.com/fallout/…1.5_Update.exe

Well here is my question does the patch break or glitch the game like previous patches of fallout 3 and Nevada. Nothing like holstering your Gatling gun and having it stuck on your arm even when you change weapons.

Meh, most of those changes have already been made far better through the modding community! Seriously though, I think modders should be hired to write patches, as we the gamers tend to think outside the box more and write better updates faster than the original devs.
As for the console vers. ~ sucks for them….LOL

I prefer official patches. Most of the time they are less buggy, better tested, better documented, and easier to install than community fixes. Quality/easeOfUse over quantity/speed for me.
