The First Templar - Released in NA

Kalypso announces The First Templar is now available in NA for both PC and the X360 - apparently digital releases will be "in the next few days". Head to Blue's for the press release.

This game is quite horrible thus far. Extremely linear follow-this-path-and-only-this-path with a few short dead ends here and there. No jumping, so getting stuck on and having to run around objects and other debris is extremely frequent. The voice acting is horrendous, spoken too fast with no proper breaks between sentences and much of the story changes topics too quickly to be properly coherent. Plus there is really no difficulty, even on hard its a breeze to fight through.

Anyway, its an ok arcade-like hack n' slash but as soon as I get LEGO: Pirates of the Caribbean after I'm paid this Friday, its being uninstalled, beaten or not…LOL

Sounds terrible.

Nothing wrong with linear hack n' slash as long as it's fun and the quality is there (i.e. God of War). Sounds like that is not the case here though.

No its just another mediocre game in the pile of other ones. Some will like it and have fun and others wont.
