Charles Mingus - Moanin'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__OSyznVDOY
My favourite jazz artist.
Strapping Young Lad - All Hail The New Flesh (live)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVifUqwui7A
One of the bands of Devin Townsend who is one of my all-time favourite artists.
This video is hilarious not only for the music itself but also for Townsend's commentaries and overall band's presence. Fucking suck it!

I knew a girl who couldn't listen to this symphony without getting a headache. The constant up-and-down modulation was too much for her.

gorecki, haven't heard of the composer before…but that reminds me of the song by lamb. too bad they split up.
in my opinion all of their 4 albums are excellent though the fourth is my least favourite by far.
lamb - gorecki

lamb - softly
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBiVG…eature=related

Throwing some electronic stuff to the mix
My Downfall by Venetian Snares is a great piece of post modern serious music, especially the way he combines digitally created symphonics with furious odd beats is simply mesmerizing!
Here's Integraation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTBb9Tc7fPw
and here My Half http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ld0iHQwrzj0
Endtroducing… by Dj Shadow is my favourite hip hop inspired record, here's
Midnight In A Perfect World, great moody song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jw8tL8PeD1Y
DJ Shadow's related project U.N.K.L.E. also came up with a lot of good stuff in its time, fine example is Be There:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSifh94B964
To round it up to five, I'm adding Star Guitar by Chemical Brothers because the videoclip by Michel Gondry is just stunning, audio-visualization at its best:

Siddal finally put up some new tracks. They're off of their "Mystery and the Sea" release, which is probably my least favorite of their work, but I can't pass up the chance to give this duo a little love.
"Oil Spills" by Siddal
(The original mix was more guitar-oriented. I think the prominence of the piano and drums in this mix makes the song sound a bit like a funeral march. Still showcases Liz's vocals, which are a little slice of heaven. Supposedly, Liz used to wear a set of angel wings in concert—a little over the top, but nothing wrong with a little truth in advertising.

I've listened to the "Untitled" first and it promptly brought back memories of some songs I haven't listened to for quite a long time. So, that's what I'm currently doing
.Joy Division - The Eternal

The Cure - The Same Deep Water As You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Yf6ieFJ32M
Esoteric - The Blood Of The Eyes (live)

Joy Division - Decades (my favourite by them)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Viq93GGpRHA
Bjork - Unison (my favourite by her, ending this post on a more cheerful note
