What games are you playing now?

Playing infamous at ps3. I really try to like it and go on but i am close of abandoning it.
Still FNV at pc. Close at my first ending. Cool game

My trick as a sorc was to bring along kagain as a duo as he has 20 con and regens completely every rest. Then with just the 2 of you, you can go to the basilisk area and take the friendly ghoul and kill all the basilisks and gain about 5 levels…..you get 8000 exp for one greater basilisk and 2000 per lesser. After that you go straight to the flesh golem cave where you get 2000exp per flesh golem (use mirror image to take the hits and stoneskin once you hit level 7) and you jut keep resting there and can get level 9 in about an hour with just you and kagain. The rest of the game is then a cakewalk.

Fighter/Cleric is probably quite powerful due to the share number of spells you can get i.e. 21 wisdom, and then 23 wisdom in BG2. Couple with the str enhancing spells you can easily have 25 str in most battles due to how many 4th level spells you will end up with.

I certainly didn't speed run though. My paladin (+5npcs) run took about 35 hours and completed every subquest, Sorc (duo) about 20 hours although didn't do everything, and my fighter mage (+5npcs) is about 35 hours and just hit the city of BG (cleared everything else apart from TotSC).

When I was in my teens I did it quite a few times, but now… no thanks. I'm too health conscious to sit in front of a monitor/TV that long.

The last game I was really into was The Witcher 2, but even for that I think the longest I played without a break was 4-5 hours.

For me it stopped crashing, when I started the game directly with sntrm.exe from the game directory instead of using the preinstalled link (to start.exe).

i tried moving the slider last night, and it actually made it way worse. So i have the slider all the way up, compatibility settings tweaked. That's stopped the crashes, so I'm going to stick w/ that until I get another then I'll try the alternate run thing.

I'm making lots of progress, and quicksaving like crazy.

This is one crazy little game, I'm really liking it! What i like the most is that so far the puzzles are LOGICAL. I generally hate adventure games because often it just amounts to a pixel by pixel scan for the right little pixel, combining every object in your inventory w/ every other object, and trying every object everywhere. It's just not fun.

I'm still playing Ghosts Of Vooju Island - although this is a really nice game, some riddles appear as unlogical to me, and additionally I've found a plot-hole …

Unbelievable game, just keeps surprising me left and right. If you like adventure games, you owe it to yourself to play this game.

Definitely. It' broken into a series of chapters which are delusional episodes in the protagonist's mind. Also, his memories of his deceased sister play prominently in the story, so… The theme of dead and dying children is a re-occuring one. It sounds ghoulish, and it is at times, but it's not all for shock and can be pretty sad when for example he's in his childhood home and the ghosts of the family are stuck re-enacting parts of their lives.

The horror is bizarre too, it almost has a planescape off-the-wall feel at times.

I already heard it is a good game - but the setting just doesn't fit my tastes.

I'm kinda stuck on the couch sick today so Ive been checking in on xbox live. Warhammer 40K: Kill Team is a fun little ten dollar twin-stick shooter, really violent (goes without saying), really explosive, really noisy. I'm playing solo so it isnt as fun as it should be, and surprisingly there doesnt appear to be anything other than local couch co-op. This would be a perfect auto-match game, wtf?

It's pretty fun nonetheless, you can choose between melee and ranged specialists and you can pick your chapter.

Im back to the "a level per day" approach that I try to keep while studying.
The game is Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Like the Penumbra Games Amnesia is a first-person physics-based adventure game, where you must solve pussles to move on.

It's also a horror game. Being a horrorgame veteran there are very few games that gets to me, but I have to confess this game got to me more than any game have done in the past. I have realized though that there are no penalties for dying and it doesn't really matter if your sanity go bad. Die and you just respawn nearby with no loss, go insane and the worst that can happen is falling down when a monster chase you (same as dying).

I have seen videos on youtube and appearently it really gets to people more than me.

How are the puzzles? Are they logical or is it a headache-inducing pixel grind?

Logical and easy. Most of the time it's more about getting through the map with your nerves in place than solving the puzzles.

I finished Starcraft and am moving forward to play Brood War, while my skills are still finely honed.
