2K Games' Cult of Rapture site has an announcement on the release date for Bioshock, pushing it out just a bit further from previous estimates:

The headline says it all: BioShock's street date is August 21st. That's a Tuesday, for all you who might be planning your "sick" days in advance.

August? That's later than previously thought by a couple of months.

Yeah, I myself wish I could have brought some better news instead. I was so looking forward to playing this title during the dull, sweaty summer days.

Or is it just so long in development that even Telengard looks new in comparison?
