I don't suppose any of those previewers felt Oblivion was rubbish?

HA! Fat chance of that happening just look at all those sites. I don't believe I've ever seen so many listed at one time.

Despite all my rage.

They're DEFINITIVELY going to make sure Oblivion err Skyrim is/will be THE game of this fall !

At least the 1Up preview admits Skyrim is best viewed as a hiking simulator.

Here is another new one - quite positive:

http://made2game.com/articles/Featur…ironment-ever/

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the most realistic videogame environment ever created.

I think the guy at made2game is really the lead artist of Bethesda He worships Skyrim like I worship TES in general. The guy is obviously a nutcase (like me) or an employee!

Bethesda wants to sells games so they are not going to give any special access to people who've panned their games. Duh.

It was certainly the most positive game review I have ever read.

Between QuakeCon, PAX and Eurogamer, I believe they have given preview access to nearly every US and international gaming media outlet, including a number of journalists who specifically mentioned in their preview articles that they disliked Oblivion, or disliked certain aspects of Skyrim.

One of the German reviewers was extremely critical IIRC.

Is anyone previewing the PC version? Has there been any mention of the UI on PC?

Yes PCGamer previewed on a desktop i7-980x with NVIDIA GTX 470 at 1680x1050 resolution. You can read it in the Dec 2011 issue. They had a few comments on the UI and differences between the console and PC graphics.

Even the PC preview is played on an Xbox 360

http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/the-elder-s…1200569p1.html

Article in the PC section of the site.

"Because this demo was on Xbox 360, I assigned my Flame spell to the Right Trigger…"

AFAIK, the Dec 2011 PCGamer has the only review of the PC version.

Interesting that the PC guy caught vampirism during the demo. Howard wasn't expecting that

PC Gamer did get to play the PC version of it, as was stated I believe that has been exclusive to them so far.

I was referring to a Gamespy article (the link in my post) doing an Xbox 360 preview in the PC section of their site.

It's getting harder not to get hyped up http://www.gamesradar.com/63-amazing…nd-did-skyrim/

I like that there now is a carriage that you can go with, i guess they've seen how popular Abot's "Silt Striders" mod is for Morrowind.
