Just on a funny note, Hines goes out of his way to say Sawyer is full of shit and that the issue isn't related to how the game saves data, but then one of the fixes is to turn off auto save. eh?

In general, if you overwrite the same file hundreds of times it will get corrupt eventually. That's the problem with 3 autosaves that update themselves constantly. Autosaves are a great idea in theory, but kinda lousy in practice. Especially in a montrous game like Skyrim. If your game was only 30 hours long, you might never have a problem.
