How to connect 2*TFT + 1 TV?
December 10th, 2011, 23:24
I have a PowerColor Radeon 6850 with 2*DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 DP connectors. I believe DVI & HDMI are shared, they only support a total of 2 devices.
I want to connect:
- 22" TFT (DVI & VGA, primay display)
- 19" TFT (DVI & VGA)
- huge FullHD LCD-TV
Obviously the TV also needs sound.
I don't want to use any cool multi-monitor features ATI supports. Just 3 independent displays. The 2 TFTs are generally used for daily work. They don't need sound. The TV should be used for movies and gaming, so I need full 3D acceleration and sound.
Any ideas which devices I should connect to which connectors? Which adaptors do I need? DP can be connected to anything, but do I need an active or a passive adaptor / cable?
