The Lord of the Rings Online open beta, or World Tour as it's being called, kicks off today. The official site has details and Turbine has updated its press coverage page with two new articles.

Now that the doors have been opened to regular joes, I'm in (I got my key from the latest issue of PC Gamer). Anybody else from NA playing ?

Been playing since closed beta 2 and now into open beta. Im on Elendilmir server =P. The game is fun so far . Feel free to send a tell to Galaad if you log on to that server.

Got a lad (get it ? ha ha) on Arkenstone and another on, hum, Landroval, I think. But I want to try out all the classes and I'm dropping each in a different server so I might get to yours if I remember how it's spelled when I log in.
