Wasteland 2 - Kickstarter Approved

Brian Fargo tweeted a few hours back the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has been approved and will be released tomorrow. Due to timezone differences, I'll probably miss the exact launch, but you know its coming:

I thought it's already approved with all of the news about the people who were hired to work on it.
Anyway, I think the results of this kickstarter are very important and can determinate if kickstarting can become a new normal way of making budget for games or not.

If you have 100$ and you donate 50$ - is that less deserving of respect than donating 1000$ if you have 1000000$?

That's a shame, yes. But I altered my pledge because of this. I don't need BETA, just a boxed copy and shipping to EU.

Apparently there is hope for old-school RPGs.

They already have 10% of their goal so it is going well.

I've always wanted to be a Wasteland location but at a $1000 it's just a bit too much. I'm going with the boxed Collectors Edition.

In for $50; they just passed the $100k mark.

Decisions decisions. 50 or 100…. Normal box or CE box. Yes or no to beta. Yes or no to having an additional digital copy.

This is a toughie. I'll probably land on 50, but the beta itself is really making me look at 100. 75 just doesn't work on its own.

I would have been more inclined to do the $100 if Guild War 2's pre-purchase details had not just gone live Plus, there will be Legend of Grimrock… Shaping up to be a decent gaming year.

Depends on if you're giving or receiving

I'm in for 100$. Since I prefer a boxed version, I might as well go for the collector's edition.
