GW2 dungeons preview

Check out this PC Gamer article:

It covers the differences available in multiple playthroughs without standard healer-tank-damager roles. Needed fresh air in the genre.

There’ll be eight story mode dungeons when the game ships,…That is more than a bit disconcerting.

There might only be 8x dungeons but there are supposedly several random encounters and events throughout each and once you have completed one in story mode the dungeon changes (time skips ahead) and you can re-enter in exploration mode.
Each exploration mode dungeon has 3x different versons of it depending on what quest chain you choose to follow so 8 instances with 32 ways to work through them.
Does not sound too bad considering dungeons and raids are not ment to be the focus for endgame content in Gw2.

How many did GW 1 have when it first came out?
Prophecies have 25 missions though, they could be seen as storymode dungeons too I guess, but some of them take less than 30 minutes to finish.
