Default Depths of Peril - Indie Royale Bundle

April 19th, 2012, 21:38
Steven Peeler from Soldak writes that Depths of Peril is included in the latest Indie Royal Bundle. The current minimum price is $4.34 as I write and that gets you six indie games, including the outstanding Depths of Peril.
More information.

Yeah, I got it and played around some. It's definitely fun. At its heart, it's a pure Diablo clone, but the extra political elements add some nice little spice.

I bet it gets old after a while, as it's definitely a by-the-numbers, procedurally generated, generic fantasy world, but it's definitely worth the bundle price on its own. I wish one of the bigger developer would try something interesting like this. The Diablo-clone market suffers from an appalling lack of innovation.

Steam is the only answer. It's convenient, it's easy to use, it's simple and fast. It's great.
