I'm loving it, single player is "Okay", but when playing co-op with friends — the fun factor skyrockets.

A German gaming site reports players being very angry that Borderlands is not violent enough. I quote them : "They demand exploding heads and more blood."

WTF ???

The magazine links to this dicussion : http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/sh…d.php?t=148825

People play so-called "games" for the violence's sake ???

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. (E.F.Schumacher, Economist, Source)

Ahh, Alrik my dear friend. One day please promise me that you'll sit down and play Fallout 1 with a character that has the "bloody mess" trait.
Perhaps only then will the profound absurdity and joy found within such gratuitous displays of violence will reveal itself to you.

Diddledy high,
Diddledy low,
Come brave blood sheep,
You've a goodly way to go.
