Too bad silent storm wasn't on sale. I have the disc version but can't get it to work. Anyone have the gog version running on win 8?

Also been looking at the newest jagged alliance. I heard it was pretty bad at release. Anyone have any input on how it is after all the patches?

Yep. Gog needs to update. When is GOG going to start selling games that are less than 10 years old? They would still be "old" by my standards.

GOG is selling some new games although mostly Indies. I bought LoG and FTL from them. I buy from Steam only if a game is not on GOG.

Yeah, there are some newer games there, but not enough. I suppose the no DRM scares a lot of recent releases off.
