Obedience and respect for authority are the most important virtues a child can learn, but rebellion is a part of youth that change when they grow up.

Good leadership is important.

Insults or offensive behavior needs to be punished.

Women and men are good at different things and they complete eachother.
Homosexuality isn't unproblematic.
There are a lot going on behind closed doors that we aren't supposed to know.
There will always be war and conflict.
Our culture and way of life was once a source for good but it is now dissolving.
That is not nazism. That is just sanity. Only objection I might have is the "getting rid" wording on that one.

But here, let me bring some actual knowledge into your colourful televitz liberal world of smoke and mirrors:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism

Nazism, or National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus, the first part pronounced as "Nazi"), is the ideology of the Nazi Party in Germany and related movements elsewhere. It is a variety of fascism that incorporates biological racism and antisemitism.
Now, I'm not a socialist(in fact I despise socialism). I don't subscribe to racial discrimination or antisemitism. Also being that the fascist state is the most notorious form of big goverment after the marxist state and I am absolutely against such, it just so happens that I am quite the opposite of a fascist.

You see, it is magic! Even a person of small mind and persistent ignorance can see that I am not a "nazi". In fact, very few conservatives and reactionaries are. I'm sure even YOU can see it.

Now if you have any shame, just apologize and go read some books, turn off the televitz and all. Lord knows you need it. A person who can't even define what a "nazi" is sure has need of a little bit of education.

This discussion is now becoming quite interesting. Just remember to keep the personal comments out of it and I'll continue to enjoy reading it!!

You mean he actually presents arguments that challenge certain conservative world views, and you don't like it ?

Actually, I couldn't care less what or how someone posts on another site. I'm only concerned about what is posted here and especially in the P&R forum. I'm usually quite tolerant, but I WON'T allow personal attacks; they have no place here!!

Not sure what you mean with 'decide'. We have forum rules to determine what is allowed and what is not. I also don't know who would have to decide what is allowed or not if we do not go by the forum rules.
I know that my personal believes should be irrelevant in that. I disagree with what FretRider states, but that is not a basis for banning him, neither is the point that he despises my political views or apparently is a catholic.
If I would remove everyone from this forum who I don't agree with, it might become a somewhat empty place.
Besides that, if I would really do that I would have to ban people like Corwin for not being an atheist and DTE for being too right-winged. That is simply impractical as that would mean I have to do all their work and watch all the new registered people myself to see if they are spam bots or not

Hm, surely there best be more romantic ways of making it clear to them you can't live without them…

I'm far too terrified of the Great and Powerful Myrthos for proper romance.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the "warrior woman" fad that is so persistent in fantasy and fiction. The whole idea of having a woman with a sword fighting men with equality is preposterous and has no meeting in reality.

Curiously, such fad began with Robert E. Howard, who was the opposite of a LIBRUL.

Like I said before, the codex is gone. The moment you put up mods with an axe to grind(i.e: homossexual activist Jaesun and rabid unemployed marxist Trash) and give them leeway to go after their "hated ones", you eliminate discussion. HHR for instance, is probably the most polite poster on that entire forum and if he had not donated considerably to the site he would have been censored and banned as others have.

See posts above by Corwin and Myrthos to see how mods should actually behave. The codex had this but lost it long ago.

You might as well mention Saint Joan of Arc, a historical character. She was certainly brave and heroic, and she certainly lead a losing army to an unlikely(some say impossible) victory. Yet by all accounts she was no battlemaster or strongman, specially considering that she was physically an ordinary teenage girl.

She was a standard bearer and lead her battalions on horse and armor. There are accounts that she participated in actual battles and indeed, she was mortally wounded by an arrow once and miraculously survived. But she would likely be no match for a trained and strong male soldier fighting on foot, for instance.

That's why the majority of games give you an option to play as a man so you won't have to go through the ordeal to play as a woman. You should be happy about that right?
If you want a realistic game why play fantasy games at all?

I often play as a woman in games, must be the gayish part in me

Yeah well, to each his own I guess. I'm really unconfortable with the hollywood fad of having skinny women kung-fuing their way out of 10 muscular dudes and stuff like that. It has become a cliché by now.

It is also not an ideal retained by fiction. Women serving in the army and seeing combat is becoming commonplace, and that is just plain wrong on so many levels.

I applaud the few brave conservatives posting in this liberal love fest. Good luck!!! Was that a personal attack?

Women becoming more like army men is kinda scary sometimes. Having to kill people even kids without question is not something i would ever want to do.
