Good Old Games brings us us an Activision Adventure Sale, which includes adventure series such as: King's Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, Gabriel Knight, Phantasmagoria and several others.
Next to adventures there are also some RPG's listed, like: Arcanum, Vampire the Masquerade, Betrayal at Krondor, Return to Krondor and the Quest for Glory series.

I think I'm going to pick up Arcanum and is Vampire:The Masquerade any good? How well does it translate to WIn7 and are there any fan-mad mods or patches similar to what they did with Bloodlines?

GOG version of Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemptions runs well on Win7. At least for me. Its a good game, but far from as good as Bloodlines. But I dont know about any fan-made mods/patches.

There are a huge amount of fan made levels for Redemption.

I was disappointed with Redemption back in the day. I found it boring and linear.
