Yep… the MST3K guys at the bottom of the screen were a dead giveaway as to where I got the pic from

Also known as:

Extraterrestial Visitors (Philippines: English title)
Nouveau terrestrials supplémentaire, Les (France)
Nouveaux extraterrestres, Les (France) (literal title)
Tales of Trumpy
The New Extraterrestrials (International: English title) (informal literal title)
The Pod People (USA)
The Return of E.T.
The Unearthling

A truly terrible film… a blast to watch.

May all your hits be crits!

Next up, Mystery Scene Number 47

You know the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. They don't alter their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views, which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

Nope. I've never heard of that movie but looking it up shows that my scene is from a movie about 10 years earlier.

I believe you have it. When I saw that title, the main character came back to me… we'll wait for Gallifrey's confirmation… but I think you got it.

Diabolik it is! Also called Danger: Diabolik.
MST3K did have a go at the movie, but it wasn't one of the better MST3K treatments as the movie is actually not that bad at all, so there wasn't a lot of parody material to work with. And, the full-length version (MST3K versions are usually edited down for time) is quite good really. It was on TV a couple of weeks ago and we watched it and were surprised that it was a solid film.

"I thought you were dead!"

"Yeah, you and everybody else."

Such a great movie. And soon enough to be put through the remake grinder.
*sigh*

Yeah, that was incredibly easy especially since you just did The Thing … but that had got me thinking about how long it had been since I saw Escape from New York.

"Chess in particular had always annoyed him. It was the dumb way the pawns went off and slaughtered their fellow pawns while the kings lounged about doing nothing that always got to him; if only the pawns united, maybe talked the rooks around, the whole board could've been a republic in a dozen moves." - Commander Vimes in Thud! by Terry Pratchett
