Default SW: TOR - Game Update 2.3 Bounty Contract Event

JustPushStart has an early preview of the upcoming game updates for SWTOR.



When SWTOR Game Update 2.3 launches next month, one of the additions many are looking forward to is the new Bounty Contract event that is held every month. According to BioWare, the event will be a week long and will always come back every month.

To those who are wondering what type of content the Bounty Contract event will have, we have decided to give you a preview as to how it will work. Below is the procedure in completing one bounty mission. Please take note that this preview is based on the build that is now available on the Pubic Test Server. Anything can change when the content is pushed to live servers sometime in August.

Some of that sounds pretty ok, actually. Two new flashpoints? I wonder how large and different they will be.

Bounties sound decent - but would have been ten times more interesting if they'd made them player bounties, at least optionally. Make the missions so that players work against each other - and get bounties placed on their heads as long as they're on a specific mission - and be targetable by the player designated as a bounty hunter only. That way you can force a confrontation in the mission zone - and would add great PvP excitement with a minimal design effort.

People from the PTS tend to believe that these 2 FPs were originally 1, but at one point cut into 2 shorter ones.

Arenas are apparingly definitively coming. I assume their implementation to be a direct result of the 400+ pages long discussion of "Premades are ruining random/solo warzones" discussion.
