i figure the only way a republican party stands any chance in 08' is by backing an impeachment or by nominating the mighty hypnotoad.

Bush left intact a $250,000 fine and two years probation for Libby, and Bush said his action still "leaves in place a harsh punishment for Mr. Libby."
Guess this means Skipper, er…Scooter won't be invited to Kennebunkport to go fishing. Hope the poor guy doesn't have to sell all his Halliburton/Exxon Mobile stock to pay that HUGE fine….

Scooter was only found guilty of lying to a federal prosecutor, committing perjury and obstructing justice. If he’d been caught driving with a suspended license, then he’d have done jail time for sure!

Oh, I wish I had a river I could skate away on. But it don't snow here. It stays pretty green. I'm going to make a lot of money, then I'm going to quit this crazy scene. — [Joni Mitchell]

Giuliani is one tough bastard and will do what it takes to get elected. He has a lot of really really good points and some really monstrous stuff in his closet. Don't count the bastard out, and realize if he is elected he will be "Our Bastard" and beat up the United States enemies. He is really really hardheaded.

Are you looking for a president or a grunt? The whole "beating enemies" part havn't worked well so far. "Making enemies" is more like it.

I think GW got some heart but no brain, Giuliani got a brain but little heart.
