UFO: Extraterrestrials - Review @ GPM

After a flurry of initial activity things have been quiet for UFO:ET but Gameplay Monthly has a review with a grade of B+ :

I honestly can't remember the last time I played a game so much. Probably not since the original X-com, which I played for 3-4 days straight without sleep. This isn't quite as addictive, but close. I think I spent close to 50 hours on it during the first week I had it, sneaking in an hour or two during the day, then at night playing until 5am.

Good review, and I have some of the same problems. No map variety and the sound is a bit off. Additionally, the various eras are a little off balance. Still, I haven't dug into a game this much in months. In spite of it differences, it's a lot like the original X-com and I will be playing UFO Extraterrestial until 2 Words come out.

I give the game a low A minus.
