Default Game of Thrones RPG : playing DLC (Beyond the wall) prior to the main game ?

June 7th, 2014, 12:29
Hey People,
Is it possible to play the DLC before the main game or does that spoiler too much the experience from the main game (I havent played it yet) ? cause It`supposed to be set before the main game and IMHO it would make sense playing it prior to the main game from a chronological point of view….

Cheers,
L.

I haven't played GoT yet, but I've seen this question asked on the Steam forum and the majority response was to play the main game first.

I played the dlc first and it was fine, nothing spoilerish IIRC. I also prefer to play chronologically if possible.

I picked this up on sale really cheap a while back, I think it might be next on my list to play.

I don't know about the DLC, but the original game is very 'spoiler safe'. Things from the books/series are just sort of like the backdrop. It's like making a game of Lord of the Rings about the story of Radagast.
