Default Path of Exile - Three Recent Patches

March 8th, 2014, 21:26
Grinding Gear Games has a new forum post for Path of Exile with information the Mini-Expansion Sacrifice of the Vaal has received three new patches.

Since Sacrifice of the Vaal's release yesterday, we've released three patches. The first two (1.1.0b and 1.1.0c) were deployed using new technology that allows us to release patches without restarting the game servers. The final patch, 1.1.0d, was a more substantial one that required a server restart because of complex changes. These patches went well - there are more coming next week including hopefully the larger 1.1.1 update!

Exilic is running a Path of Exile levelling competition at 8pm CET Sunday March 9 (that's 8am Monday NZ time, which is 11am Sunday PST). They invited many of our top streamers to compete and the competition is being commentated by Kripparrian. Rory (one of our designers) is also being interviewed at the event. There are also prizes, provided by both us and Exilic. The link to the stream is http://www.twitch.tv/exilic.
More information.

The only update this game ever needed is to fix the BSOD for Windows 7 on Titanium Sound cards.

This game is the most dangerous piece of software that has ever hit my windows 7 machines. The BSOD in Windows 7 can leave you with an entire weekend of repairing your computer.
