Default Armored Warfare- Obsidian's New F2P Game

I'm guessing they were desperate for money and chose to do this instead of laying people off. If they make any money off it I hope they put it toward an expansion for Poe or another kickstarter game where they have full creative control.

Tanks and obsidian… Wtf…

They are desperate for contracts which is what keep the company afloat. All of Obsidian games have been contractual, POE is going to be their first in-house game.

Armored Warfare is from the same Russian company that publish Skyforge which has some Obsidian devs working on. It's a "contract".

This game reminds me of that online tank sim game … "World Of Tanks". It must be quite successful if any one tries to copy it.
